Byron Station Units 1 and 2 Braidwood Station Units 1 and 2 Application for Amendment to Facility Operating Licenses NPF-37, NPF-66, and NPF-72 Appendix A, Technical Specifications NRC Docket Nos. 50-454, 50-455, 50-456 and 50-457
Dear Mr. Murley:
Pursuant to 10CFR 50.90, Commonwealth Edison proposes to amend Appendix A, Technical Specifications, of Facility Operating Licenses NPF-37, NPF-66, and NPF-72.
The proposed amendment requests changes to Technical Specifications 3.8.1.1 and 4.8.1.1.2 to clarify how the gradual loading of the diesel engine is applied to minimize the mechanical stress and wear on the diesel generacor. The new Technical Specification pages are contained in Attachment A.

On-site and Off-site review in accordance with commonwealth Edison Company procedures. We have reviewed this proposed amendment in accordance with 10 CFR 50.92(c) and determined that no significant hazards considerations exist. This evaluation is documented in Attachment C.
Commonwealth Edison is notifying the State of Illinois of our application for this amendment by transmitting a copy of this letter and its attachments to the designated State Official.
