OPERATOR REQUALIFICATION PROGRAM EVALUATION AT COOPER NUCLEAR STATION S
Examiner Standards 601,1 ection C, requires that a requalification program evaluation be performed at any plant that has not been evaluated in the previous two years. Cooper Nuclear Station's last'requalification program evaluation was. performed in September 1985.
Due to the suspension of requalification program evaluations by.the NRC on September 11, 1987, an evaluation will not be
. performed.at. Cooper during their.1988. requalification cycle. Other factors considered in our decision not to perform the audit include:

Lack of NRC examiner resources available-I 2.
' Satisfactory evaluation during most recent NRC evaluation of the requalification program (9/85)

Good performance on replacement operator licensing examinations 4.
