We are in receipt of the Board's order admitting us as parties in the license amendment proceedings on the changes in iodine spiking reporting for the Limerick plant.

We note that the Board has accorded us until 11/16/87 to initiate and conclude discovery.

We call the Boa d's attention to our r

ment application.

This letter was not designated as a discovery request but that was what it was.

We request that the Board accept this letter as our noti-fication and request for discovery.

At the present time we have no further requests for information in addi-tion to the items recorded in our9/10/87 letter.Theseitemsare:

1. A complete set of recordings at all of Teledyne stations or any other stations operated by or for PEco on radioactive releases to the atmosphere for the period 1/1/87 to 9/30/87,at the daily,woekly or_whatever frequency the specific monitor is set up for.

2.

The plant stack monitoring records for radioactive iodine releases from Limerick to the surrounding environment for the period 1/1/87 to 9/30/87 on a continuous recording record,1f available,but in any event not less than hourly monitoring,24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> per day during the operation of the reactor and as well when it was shut down.

3 For the same period the recordings of radioactive iodine levels at all the monitors on the plant property, including levels at the plant entrances and at em closest point to the railroad right of way. We ask for continuous readings,1f possible,but as a minimum, hourly recordings, 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> per day, reactor operating or shut down.

We identify this response as notification to PECo to provide us with the opportunity to study the records requested above and to make copies of any or all of these records.
