Dear Mr. Sumner:
This confirms the telephone conversation with Ms. Janice Davis of your organization on June 10, 1998. concerning an informational meeting which has been scheouled for July 9. 1998, at 10:00 a.m.
The purpose of this meeting, scheduled at the request of Southern Nuclear Operating Company, is to discuss your E. I. Hatch self-assessment prior to the end of the cycle 14 SALP. The location of the meeting will be at the NRC Region II Office 61 Forsyth Street. SW. Atlanta, Georgia. 24th Floor Conference Room.
This meeting is an OPEN meeting as per " Staff Meetings Open to the Public: Final Policy Statement" (September 20. 1994: 59 FR 48430).
