Response to Request for Additional Information on the Proposed Conversion to the Improved Standard Technical Specifications, Section 3.6 Gentlemen:
Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (WCNOC) requested an amendment to the Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS) Unit 1 facility operating license (NPF-
- 42) by incorporating changes to the WCGS Technical Specifications (TS) as provided in Reference 2.
The NRC staff requested additional information regarding Section 3.6, Containment Systems, of the proposed TS changes in Reference 1.
The requested information is provided in the Attachment and Enclosure to this letter.
Also included are additional changes needed for Section 3.6 which were identified by WCNOC.
This letter and Enclosure are not a supplement to Reference 2 and have not been reviewed by the Plant Safety Review Committee or Nuclear Safety Review Committee. A supplement to Reference 2 will be provided at a later date.
