BOMB THREAT AT CONSTRUCTION SITE i
A bomb threat was phoned into the Construction Superintendent Thursday (7-1-76) at 1:43 p.m. (CDT) by a male saying a bomb was placed on site to go off during the second shift.
Day shift personnel were evacuated and 2nd shift personnel were told of the threat. A search was made; no bomb was found and none exploded.
The FBI has been notified. Local police departments were not notified by W
the licensee. A press release has not been made by the licensee or NRC.
Region II (Atlanta) received notification of this occurrence by telephone

at 3:45 p. m. on July 1,1976, from the Quality Assurance Supervisor at the Farley construction site.
Additional Information The teamsters, iron workers, operating engineers and electrical craf t union contracts expired 6-30-76.
The electrical workers have agreed to work while their contract is being negotiated. The other 3 crafts are on strike. The plant is not being picketed. Contract negotiations are continuing.
