BOMB THREAT The New York State Police received a call on February 4 informing them
'that a bomb was placed at the Susquehanna site and set to.go.off at '
11:00 a.m. on that date. The N.Y. State Police notified the licensee. taa The licensee's security force and the Pennsylvania State Police are
( , searching for the bomb. The site was to be evacuated ac 10:30 a.m. if the bomb was not found by then. The licensee plans to issue a press release. The FBI has been notified by Region I.
Media interest is expected because of current news interest involving I nuclear. plants. The State of Pennsylvania has been and is being kept informed. An NRC press release is not planned.
Region I, Philadelphia, Pa. received notification of this occurrence by telephone from the licensee at 10:15 a.m., February 4, 1976.
