' Reportable MUF On February 5, 1976, the licensee reported to Region V a MUF of high enriched uranium for the inventory period November 3, 1975, to January 5, 1976.
The MUF loss is between 1.5 and 2.0 times the LEMUF limits of 10 CFR 70.51(e)(S)(1).

The licensee voluntarily shutdown all a'ssociated processing operations and is re-inventorying and examining records. The re-inventory is to be completed today February 5, and results are to be reported to Region V on February 6.
A Region V safeguards inspector will be on site on February 6 to review the licensee's action and results. An immediate action letter will be sent to the licensee today (February 5, 1976) confirming the investigative action being-taken by the licensee.
The above information was reported by the licensee by telephone to the Region V office at 9:00 a.m. PST on February 5, 1976.
