.The Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station (PNPS) Restart Plan, Volume
- 1.. and ' Volume 2,
Revision 0 were transmitted to the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission on July 30, 1987.
This' letter transmits for information, Volume 2,
Revision 1 which is the first ' installment of updated results for the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station (PNPS) Restart' Plan.
Boston.
Edison presently plans to submit final results (Volume 2,
. Revision 2) to the NRC one week after commencement of the NRC diagnostic inspection.
i The Restart Plan describes the programs, plans and actions considered necessary by Boston Edison Company management for restart and for continued safe and reliable i
operation of Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station.
The Restart Plan consists of two volumes.
Volume 1
is primarily a
programmatic description and contains a limited description i
of the results of Boston Edison's restart efforts.
Volume 2 consists of a set of Appendices that provides additional results.
Appendix 7 to volume 2,
which will provide a summary status of restart actions in the Radiological Action Plan, will be submitted with a future revision of Volume 2 when the Radiological Action Plan has been completely developed, s
