Dear Ms. Wright:
Please find enclosed an application for an export license to transport natural uranium as natural uranium hexafluoride from AlliedSignal's Metropolis, Illinois facility to Urenco's plants in Germany, the Netherlands and the U.K.
The application covers a quantity of 1,500tU in the form of UF that we currently project that our U.S. utility customers will provide us during the period of the application. It is known that we will need to ship Australian, Canadian, U.S. and Russian origin uranium but other origins may arise during the rest of 1998 and 1999. The material is for End Use in the United States following enrichment at Urenco's facilities.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. Please call me on (202) 337-6644 if you have questions regarding this application.
Best Regards Steve P. Threlfall L Contract Administration Manager Attachments:
