The modifications contained herein provide information requested by Ref (6), (8), (9), and (10). Please insert the enclosed pages into the appropriate places of the subject submittal which was transmitted by reference (1) and augmented and revised by References (2), (3), (4),
(5), and (7).
In addition, this submittal modifies' specifications for added product items, and incorporates analytical differences due to cross section corrections for Hf which were supplied by Oak Ridge.

UNC is scheduled to begin production clusters on a new contract.
Accordingly, KENO calculations have been performed to provide an
' independent verification of a KAPL reactivity report for the affected l
I components. Additional calculations demonstrate the safety of specified limits which are included in this submittal. This information supplements the license amendments referenced above.
As a result of an error which UNC uncovered in the ORNL supplied Hf.
cross sections used in support of prior submittals, all validations and demonstrations involving Hf have been recalculated. Although no changes in specifications result from this re-evaluation, extensive l
revisions to demonstration pages have been made. These are enclosed.
I The reply to items 7-35 of ref. (8) is expected to be made by mid November and would complete our response to all comments made by the NRC.
