RESPONSE TO IE BULLETIN 87-01 THINNING OF PIPE WALLS IN NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS The subject Bulletin requested that licensees and CP holders respond within_60 days and provide information regarding their programs for monitoring the wall thickness of pipes in specified systems.
The Supply System is the holder of a construction permit for WNP-1. At present WNP-1 is approximately 63% complete and has been in a deferred construction mode since 1981.

There is not currently a projected date for restart of construction.
Because the plant is not operating or under active construction, we propose to defer our response to the Bulletin until after restart of construction and a monitoring program is established.
