2.
Scheduled date for next-refueling shutdown: March 31, 1990 3.
Scheduled date for restart following refueling: May 15,1990 4.
Will refueling or resumption of operation thereafter require a Technical Specification change or other license amendment?
Resumption of operation after refueling will. require changes to Technical Specifications. The changes will be such as to allow operation of the plant with a higher enriched (4.3%) reload batch and reshuffled core for Unit l's l
next 24 month cycle.
5.
Scheduled date(s) for submitting proposed licensing action and supporting information.
June 9, 1988
( enrichment submittal )
February 15, 1990 ( reload submittal )
I 6.
Important licensing considerations associated with the refueling.
The enrichment license, currently under review, will increase our storage limit from 4.1 to 5.01.
Reload fuel will be similar to reload fuel inserted into the previous cycle cycle except for the higher enrichment ( 4.3% ).
7.
The number ot fuel assemblies (a) in the core and (b) in the spent fuel storage pool.
(a) 217 (b) 1234 Spent fuel pools are common to Units 1 and 2.
8.
(a) The present licensed spent fuel pool stcrage capacity, and (b) the size of any increase in licensed storage capacity that has been requested or is planned, in number of fuel assemblies.
1 (a) 1830 (b) 2880*
9.
The proj ected date of the last refueling that can be discharged to the Spent Fuel Fool assuming the present licensed capacity and maintaining space for one full core off-load.
