SUBJECT:
Report on the Unannounced and-Off-hours Drill on December 5, 1988, for the Offsite Radiological Emergency Response Plans Site-specific to the Wolf Creek Generating Station Attached is a copy of the report for the off-hours, unannounced drill conducted for the Wolf Creek Generating Station on December 5, 1988.
The report dated February 3, 1989, was prepared by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region VII staff.
The State of Kansas and coffey County participated fully in this drill.
This was the first off-hours, unannounced drill for the State of Kansas and Coffey County.
This drill was preceded by four joint radiological emergency preparedness exercises at the Wolf Creek Generating Station.
l There were no deficiencies or Areas Requiring Corrective i
Action (ARCA's) observed during the December 5,
- 1988, drill.
The appropriate objectives regarding the ARCA's cited at the September 7, 1987, exercise'will be demonstrated for adequacy at the next full-participation, joint exercise currently scheduled for December 6, 1989.
