APPLICANTS' MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME By an order served October 14, 1987, this Appeal Board ordered the Applicants to file a supplemental memorandum concerning the "Merrimac sirens" on or before October 23, 1987.
This order was received by counsel for the Applicants on Friday, October 16, 1987.
Counsel for the Applicants have been on trial this entire week beginning October 19, 1987, in Concord, New Hampsnire, before the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board dealing with offsite issues.
It has not proved possible to prepare and file the memorandum and supporting technical documentation as required by this Appeal Board's order during that week of trial.
