Dear Mr. Traficonte:

I wish to confirm our conversation of earlier today. As I mentioned I have put together a set of documents from the adjudicatory record of this proceeding, in which statements appear concerning the Attorney General's role and status in the proceeding.

I indicated that I will be sending you a copy of these documents by express mail, and inquired whether you wish to receive Saturday delivery.

You indicated that a delivery on Monday would suffice, in that your office would be unable to receive an express mail delivery on Saturday.

In addition, I wish to confirm my understanding of your position, as expressed in our telephone conversation. You indicated that the Massa-chusetts Attorney General has the authority to represent the Commonwealth i

in the Seabrook operating license proceeding, without any request having been made for representation by the Governor or Executive Department of the Commonwealth. You further indicated that neither the Governor nor the Executive Department have requested that the Attorney General parti-cipate in this proceeding.

If my understanding is in any way incorrect, please let me know.

I look forward to seeing you in Boston next week.

Very truly yours, i
