SUMMARY
Scope:
This routine, unannounced inspection was conducted in the areas of
Management Support; Security Program Plans; Protected and Vital Area

Barriers; Detection Aids; Assessment Aids; Protected and Vit'al Area
'
Access Control - Packages, Personnel and Vehicles; Alarm Stations and
Communications; Power Supply; Testing, Maintenance and Compensatory
Measures.
Results:
In the areas inspected, one violation was identified,
'
A Vital Area door was not secured as required in .the Physical
,
Security Plan.
This inspection found the morale and professionalism of'the Security-
Force personnel to be noteworthy. Management support for security is
demonstrated in the new Protected Area Perimeter Barrier and.

detection aids being installed around Unit I and 2.
This is a major

upgrade for this site.
Currsntly, the site is going through the
transition to a - new Security' Superintendent.
The previous- one
retired on January 31, 1989.
