f Station authorized under the general license provisions of 10 CFR 31.5 and to I
the discussion of our findings with you and Mr. Groenevelt at the conclusion l
of the inspection. This also refers to the discussion of these findings and-your corrective actions during the enforcement conference conducted in the I
Region III office on March 14, 1989.

1 The inspection was prompted by worker allegations concerning nuclear gauging l
devices at the Sims Station. The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during the inspection. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective examination of procedures and representative records, observations, independent measurements, and interviews with personnel.
We are releasing this report at this time for your information. You will be notified by separate correspondence cf our decision regarding enforcement action based on the findings of this inspection.
