Gentlemen:
As you are probably aware, the NRC has recently undergone an agency-wide i
reorganization _n, which resulted in.a change in both branch name and branch management personnel relative to the safeguards. licensing authority within the NRC. What was formerly the " Safeguards Material Licensing and Inter-national Activities Branch" is now the." Licensing Branch."
I (the undersigned) have replaced'Dr. Willard B. Brown as Acting Branch Chief,

and Mr. Philip Ting has replaced Mr. C. N. (Mike) Smith as Section Leader of the MC&A and Physical Security Licensing Section.
In order to maintain an efficient utilization of staff within the Licensing Section', it has become necessary to.make some changes in licensing reviewer assignments. As a result, Chuck Gaskin is replacing Don Joy as your security _ licensing reviewer. Don Joy
