Gentlemen:
In the referenced letter, Georgia Power Company discussed the pop l
test performed on the diesel generator to check the spray pattern from the fuel injectors.
As part of this test, all injectors are disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and damaged or worn parts replaced.
During this test Georgia Power Company will analyze the content of any significant deposits, to the extent practical, and will pay particular attention to any zine that may be present.
These instructions will be added to the Diesel Generator Maintenance Procedure.
