Dear Dr. Reyblatt:
This responds to your letter to Ms. Norry dated February 17, 1986, in which you requested materials concerning the Office of Inspector and Auditor
' investigation of allegation referred to it by Mr. Denton.
Your request asks for information that does not require a F0IA request and for a list of any of the information that was proprietary.
Mr. Gary J. Edles, Acting Director, Office of Inspector and Auditor, informed you by letter dated March 4,1986, a copy of which is enclosed, that the disclosure of the OIA report on the subject of your request vill be considered only in response to a Freedom of Information Act (F0IA) request. Therefore, in view that your request specifically stated it was not being nade under the provisions of the F0IA, it cannot be processed by this office.
I can assure you that if a F0IA request is received for the report it.'till be responded to promptly in accordance with Part 9 of NRC regulations.
