This modification is issued for the purpose of extending the period of performance by one additional year; incorporating two 12-month option years; modifying Standard Form 36 (page 4 of contract); modifying Section C.1; increasing contract ceiling amount; incorporating Section H.1.C' option year clause; and Clause to. 52.232 Availability of Funds for the next Fiscal Year. The following changes are hereby incorporated:

2. Under Section C.1 - Statement of Work, incorporate the attached revised list of NRC locations for which on-call maintenance service will.be k required.

3.. Section F.1 - Duration of Contract Period is revised to read as follows:  ;

"F.1 Duration of Contract Period 1

The contract shall become effective on September 30, 1985 and shall continue for thirty-six (36) months, with two 12-month option periods." 3

4. Under Section G.1 - Total Amount of the Contract Ceiling, the first sentence is revised to read as follows:

"The estimated amount for performing the work under this contract is

$324,107.00."

The second paragraph is revised to read as follows:

"The amount presently obligated with respect to this contract is

$179,777.00. Additional funds in the amount of $50,000.00 will be obligated for FY 88 costs upon availability of appropriated funds."

5. The following paragraph is hereby incorporated as Section H.1.C.

"H.1.C The NRC will reimburse the Contractor for travel costs incurred in visiting remote locations to provide technical support. All remote travel must have prior approval of the Project Officer."

6. The following clause is hereby incorporated as Section H 8.

"H.8 Option to Extend Period of Performance This contract may be extended for two additional 12-month periods at the option of the Government by the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer will give preliminary written notice of an intent to exercise such option ninety (90) days prior to the last day of the period of performance (such preliminary notice shall not be construed as an exercise of the option) and will not bind the Government to exercise the option. This notice will include Governments' estimate regarding the amount of effort required for performance under the option period. Any revision or additions to the Statement of Work will also be included in the notice.

i Upon receipt of the notice of intent to exercise the option,' the Contractor '

l shall submit to the Contracting Officer, within thirty (30) days a cost estinate for the proposed extended period of performance. This cost  ;

7. The following clause is hereby incorporated under Part II,Section I Contract Clauses "52.232.19 Availability of Funds for the next Fiscel Year (April 1974)

Funds are not presently available for performance under this contract l beyond 10/30/87. The Government's obligation for performance of this I contract beyond that date is contingent upon the availability of .

appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made.  !

No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise for performance under this contract beyond 10/30/87, until funds i are made available to the Contracting Officer for performance and until the Contractor receives notice of availability, to be confirmed in
