NRC STAFF MOTION FOR EXTENSION TO FILE PROPOSED FINDING The. U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff hereby requests that the Licensing Board. grant a 5-day extension of time within which to file Proposed Findings. The Staff's findings are currently due in hand by March 15, 1989. The Intervenor's findings are due in hand on March 10, 1989. To ensure delivery on March 15, 1989 the Staff must m.sil its findings by the close of business in March 14, 1989. The. Staff, because of an intervening weekend, has only two working days between receipt of the Intervenor's findings and the day the Staff's Proposed Findings must be filed. This schedule precludes the Staff from being able to fully consider Intervenor's findings as contemplated when the schedule was originally determined. The Staff will ensure its Proposed Findings are

~.. served on the Parties and the Licensing Board on or before March 20, 1989.
