Dear Ms. Zuras:
In your June 18, 1987 letter to Mr. Hickey, you indicated that a spiral notebook which GPUN had requested (pages of which were attached to GPUN's Notice of Deposition of Richard Parks) had already been provided to Bechtel.
Bechtel has searched i
through the documents which Parks previously produced and does not have a copy of this notebook.
We have identified and obtained a copy of a 1983 desk calendar which Parks started keep-ing on March 18, 1983 (produced by you in the Bechtel litigation which page numbers PLTF 05513-05677), but this desk calendar is not the document we are seeking.
Rather, GPUN is seeking a dais log which Parks indicated during his deposition he believes he l
kept (Tr. 52) and from which the pages attached to his notice of deposition were apparently copied.
Mr. Parks also stated during his deposition in this proceeding that we should contact you to pursue the matter futher.
(Id.)
Accordingly, we ask again that you provide us with a copy of this notebook at your earliest convenience, so that we may reveiw it prior to the reconvening of Mr. Parks' deposition.
We will cf course r; imburse you for the copying services.
GPUN is also interested in inspecting the original 639 pages of documents relating to Mr. Parks' TMI allegations, copies of which were provided by Mr. Parks through Tom Devine of GAP to Ronald Meeks of the NRC Office of Investigations on July 25, 1983.
A copy of the receipt signed by Mr. Meeks is enclosed.
The copies of these documents in the NRC's possession and pro-duced to us have a number of incompletely copied documents and illegible pages.
Mr. Parks testified in his deposition in the 3
