welds were fit 4 p inspected prior to October Eight (8) of these 18, 1984.
(From this date on, partial penetration welds were required by construction procedure CP. CPM-6.90, Rev. 6 DCN #003 to have the fit-up inspection).
Since the fit-up inspection would not have been required prior to that date unless the scribe line technique was intended to be used, it is considered probable that' at least those eight (8) welds were inspected using the scribe line technique.
