Dear Mr. Rademacher:
This letter addresses the inspection of your facilities at Bonn and Werke Bayenthal in Cologne, conducted by Mr. K. R. Naidu of this office on November 17-18, 1988, and the discussions of his findings with you and cther members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The purpose of the inspection was to verify the implementation of your quality assurance program in selected areas including design changes to the electrical L
equipment supplied to the LaSalle County fluclear Power Plant Units 1 and 2
{
located in Illinois. Areas examined during the NRC inspection and our finding 3 are discussed in the enclosed report. This inspection consisted of an examina-tion of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by ths. iqNrN?.
Within the scope of this inspectien, we found no instance where you failed to meet NRC requirements.
lu accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Conraission's regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
