7590-01 UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY DOCKET NOS. 50-327, 50-328 NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL 0F APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENTS TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSES The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Comission) has granted the request of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) to withdraw its October 2, 1984 application for proposed amendments to Facility Operating Licenses Nos.
DPR-77 and DPR-79 for the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units I and 2, located in Hamilton County, Tennessee.
By submittal dated May 18, 1987, TVA requested to withdraw its proposed amendments supporting a plant staff reorganization, which would have affected Section 6, " Administrative Controls," of the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units 1 l
and 2 Technical Specifications (TS). This plant staff reorganization related TS change has been re-submitted by the same May 18, 1987 submittal, at the request of the Comission, so as to incorporate all desired changes to i
Section 6 of the TS into one change request. This change request will be the subject of a separate licensing action.
The Comission has issued Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendments to Licenses published in the FEDERAL REGISTER cn December 31, 1984 (49 FR 50826) for the October 2, 1984 application.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 2.107, the Comission has granted TVA's request to withdraw its application.
