(803) 345-4297 JANUARY 1989 At the beginning of January 1989, the plant was at 50 percent power during power ascension for cycle 5.. On January 4, power was decreased from 75 percent to 40 percent because secondary water chemistry was out of specification. On January 11, the plant reached 100 percent power.
The plant was operating at 88 percent power at the end of-January to allow repair of a feedwater. pump.
