LICENSING ACTION REVIEW FOR PILGRIM NUCLEAR POWER STATION, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGE TO LPCI SUBSYSTEM SURVEILLANCE (TAC NO. 65787) 1 Region I has completed the Licensing Action Review for a proposed change to Appendix A, Technical Specifications (TS), of Facility Operating License No.

DPR-35 for Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station, which was submitted to NRR by licensee letter BECO 87-109 dated July 8,1987. Based on this evaluation, as documented in the enclosed Safety Evaluation and SALP Input, the proposed change was found acceptable.

Enclosure 2 includes the revised page of the Technical Specifications which is affected by this review.

This action completes work performed by Region I under TAC 65787. The principal reviewer was M. G. Evans of the Division of Reactor Safety.
