1 By application dated August 28, 1987, Department of' Energy requested renewal of Certificate of Compliance No. 6677. No changes have been requested or made to 1

the package since approval of Revision 1 dated April 1978 to the Safety Analysis Report No. OPSPU-71-124-4 dated May 1975. The applicant submitted revised operating procedures (Chapter 6 of the Safety Analysis Report) which expand the existing instructions _ to_ clarify the requirements of the procedures.

The certificate of compliance has been renewed for a five year term ending September. 30, 1992.
