Randall, an NRC employee, to Argentina in October or November 1987 to lecture at an interregional training
-course sponsored by the IAEA.
The title of the course is the " Implications of Radiation-Induced Embrittlement for the Integrity of Pressure Vessels".
NRC staff has confirmed with Mr. Randall that his lectures will be confined to public information and that the codes he proposes to discuss are standards, i
i regulations, and safety rules which are available in the open literature.
No computer codes will be discussed.
This letter will confirm Elaine Hemby's telephone discussion with Ms. Martin, of your staff, that tiased on the above information, DOE has detennined that the proposed visit woulil be generally authorized under 10 CFR Part 810.
