v Please find enclosed a copy of Western Stress, Inc.'s Quality Assurance Program for shipping containers, in accordance with 10 CFR Part 71.
This Quality Assurance procedure is incorporated by section in the Western Stress, Inc.'s Radiation Safety Manual and in effect is a part of our operating and emergency procedures.
As I indicated in our telephone conversation, Western Stress, Inc. is a user of pre-manufactured devices as opposed to a manufacturer, and as such, these procedures are written to outline the criterion for inspection and use of packages rather than the manufacture there of.
The following equipment is currently approved for use under Western Stress, Inc.'s operating and emergency procedures and the existing radioactive material license agreements; Tech / Ops Model 920 Exposure Device Tech / Ops Model 680 Exposure Device Tech / Ops Model 850 Source Changer Tech / Ops Models 770, 771 Source Changer As you indicated in our telephone conversation, I
have not included manufacturers certification statements for this equipment.
These certifications, however, are maintained in our Corporate files and in our radiation safety files at each of our district offices licensed for radiographic operations.
