Dear Mr. Guinyard:
SEQUOYAE NUCLEAR PLANT (SQN) - INVESTIGATION OF PLANT IMPACI ON DISSOLVED OXYGEN LEVELS IN CHICKAMAUGA RESERVOIR - RHODAMINE WI DYE STUDY This is in follow up to my June 2 letter to you on this subject.
The Tennessee Valley Authority's use of Rhodamine WT dye in a field study in Chickamauga Reservoir on June 15-16 resulted in dye concentrations of less than 10 ppb at all known intakes in the survey reaches. The maximum dye concentration measured at the last monitoring station (TRM 483.4) was
- 8. ppb, which is about 10 miles upstream of the nearest water intake, U.S.
Army - Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant, at TRM 473.0.
If there are any questions regarding these results, please call Madonna E. Martin of my staff at (615) 632-6695 in Knoxville.
Sincerely,
,)
