Dear Mr. Guinyard:

SEQUOYAE NUCLEAR PLANT (SQN) - INVESTIGATION OF PLANT IMPACI ON DISSOLVED OXYGEN LEVELS IN CHICKAMAUGA RESERVOIR - RHODAMINE WI DYE STUDY This is in follow up to my June 2 letter to you on this subject. The  ;

Tennessee Valley Authority's use of Rhodamine WT dye in a field study in Chickamauga Reservoir on June 15-16 resulted in dye concentrations of less than 10 ppb at all known intakes in the survey reaches. The maximum dye concentration measured at the last monitoring station (TRM 483.4) was

8. ppb, which is about 10 miles upstream of the nearest water intake, U.S.

Army - Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant, at TRM 473.0.

If there are any questions regarding these results, please call Madonna E. Martin of my staff at (615) 632-6695 in Knoxville. ,
