Dear Sir,

In response to Ref. 3, we enclose revised pages of our submittals enciesed with the referenced letters. The changes to these submittals are as follows: O 1. we have revised Paves 8.2-9 and 8.2-10 of Part 1 to reinsert reference to Section 8.0 of Part II. j l 2. We withdraw our request to revise Page 3-34 of Part I. Accordingly, Rev. 4 of'~that page continues'in effect, and Part II pages 3.40-1a Rev 5, as well as Pages 3.40-1a,'3.40-2a, and 3.40-4a, are withdrawn. ( 3. We have revised Page 3.9-17 of Part II to accomodate both an I older cross section set, and one that has been revised to allow for resonance correction. Because a prior discussion of KENO normalization had been contained on Page 3.9-13 of Part II, we have also revised Page 3.39-2 to cite the changed location of this discussion. Our schedules which have been developed to meet the needs of the Department of Energy require that this amendment be issued by March 1, 1989.
