This refers to the performance appraisal conducted by Dr. J. B. Nicholas of this office during the period Au;;ust 17-19, 1987, for the NRC/ State of Colorado Environmental Monitoring Cooperative Agreement around Fort St. Vrain Station, i
} and to the discussion of the appraisal results with you and other members of l your staff at the conclusion of the appraisal on August 19, 1987.
Based on the appraisal results, we believe that the level of work has been sufficient to satisfy the general conditions of the cooperative agreement.
However, as documented in the enclosed appraisal report, we have several .
concerns regarding items that did not fully satisfy.the conditions of the I cooperative agreement. Several of these items are repeat items that have been noted in previous appraisals. Accordingly, you are requested to reply, in writing, within 30 days of receipt of this letter concerning steps taken to ensure that the conditions of the cooperative agreement are met.
