EMERGENCY EXERCISE SCENARIO Gentlemen:

Enclosed is our complete 1987 emergency preparedness exercise scenario package, which includes all necessary information outlined in Reference (a).

This exercise will involve activating and exercising all Maine Yankee facilities, the State EOC, two county EOC's and all twenty community EOC's.

It will be held on Hednesday, June 10, 1987, with onsite activities (i.e.

Unusual Event) beginning around 1745 hours0.0202 days <br />0.485 hours <br />0.00289 weeks <br />6.639725e-4 months <br />, escalating to an alert around 1830, causing all State, local and utility ERF's to be staffed up.

He also plan to conduct a mini exercise on Hednesday, June 3, 1987.

During this exercise, we and the State of Maine plan to demonstrate FEMA objectives for the evacuntion of schools, by simulating the evacuation of one school in Hiscasset.

He also plan to conduct a mini-drill later in the year, so that the alert and notification system and media center may be effectively evaluated.
