OF MEETING ON JANUARY 23, 1989 - COMANCHE' PEAK EMERGENCY PLAN On Janua'ry 23, 1989, the NRC staff met with representatives of TV Electric in Rockville, Maryland to discuss Revisions 9 and 10 of the Comanche Peak- ' Emergency Plan (EP). The meeting notice with agenda and the list of meeting attendees are provided as Enclosures 1 and 2, respectively, to_ this summary. During the meeting, the staff explained its positionLon the planning items. listed in the' meeting agenda and provided the applicant representatives an opportunity: to respond._ As_ a result of these discussions,. resolutions'were-proposed for-17' planning items. These items are listed in Enclosure 3 with .the proposed resolution.* The applicant agreed to submit a draft Revision.11 of the EP addressing the 13 planning items.whose resolution called for EP revisions by February 24, 1989. The applicant indicated that the Emergency' Action Level (EAL)-scheme is cur-rently under revision and Revision 4 of procedure EPP-201, " Assessment of r Emergency Action' Levels, Emergency Classification and Plan Activation," will be submitted for staff review in the very near future. Two of the planning items. (items 2 and 3) listed in Enclosure 3 should be resolved with staff review of' this procedure. 'The two remaining items (items 6 and 8) require no additional applicant submittals. fn providing'the draft Revision 11 to the EP, the applicant shodld indicate '1) which of the 13 planning items of Enclosure 3, if any, the draft does not address and a schedule for their incorporation, and 2) a schedule for submit-ting the final version of Revision 11 t the EP.
