The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 38 to Facility Operating License No. R-67 for the TRIGA Mark F non-power reactor.

The amendment consists of changes to tne Technical Specifications in response to your submittal dated April 30, 1987.

The amendment authorizes an increase in irradiation time for fueled in-core thermionic direct conversion devices, with the irradiation time not to exceed 40,000 hours0 days <br />0 hours <br />0 weeks <br />0 months <br /> for any one fueled in-core thermionic direct conversion device.

A copy of Amendment No. 38 and the related Safety Evaluation supporting Amendment No. 38 are enclosed.
