Dear Pursuant to many conversations with Dr. Olcott,
I have bacome aware of your questions about the designation within your respective school district of Reception Centers in the Rockland County Radiological Emergency Response Plan.
The fundamental busing issues and evacuation routes will be reviewed for each area in the near future.
We are anticipating a rewrite of portions of the evacuation plan which will actively incorporate the participation of you and your bus contractor (s) as well as your county office of emergency services.
Attached you will find an estimation of the number of people that may pass through your respective reception center.
These persons will arrive for the purpose of receiving a map, information, reuniting, monitoring or decontamination.

I will be attending your next meeting on Thursday, i
March 18th where I will answer any additional questions.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation.
Very truly yours, 8709280049 870714

General Population This figure includes everyone in that vicinity including school in session, school children, special facilities, etc.
Maximum Expected This figure equals 30% of the General Population.
Statistically this is high -
People going to reception centers stop for information, maps or reuniting with families.
They may never get out of their cars.
Should there be a radioactive release and the population fears decontamination, then the 30% becomes more realistic.
Transit Dependent 1
These people will be picked up along the bus routes.
