One (1) original and thirty-seven (37) copies of an Application for Amendment to our Technical Specifications to incorporate changes applicable for the batteries installed in accordance with DCP-673.

The batteriec were upgraded to be in accordance with IEEE 535-1979, Qualification of Class 1E Lead Storage Batteries for Nuclear Power Generating Stations.

This change has been reviewed by the OSC and ORC and has been determined to be safe and does not involve an unreviewed safety question.

Thirty-eight (38) copies of documents designated Attachments A

and B

which setforth the change in Technical Specifications and its no significant hazards evaluation.

A check in the amount of $150.00 is attached as payment of the license amendment application fee in accordance with 10 CFR 170.
