REGION IV/V LICENSEE WORKSHOP This is in response to your June 3,1987 memorandum regarding NRC hosted workshops for licensees to discuss regulatory matters.
We have been in contact with Region IV to develop a joint Region IV/V workshop for industrial licensees (i.e., radiographers, well loggers and industrial gauge users).
In addition to a joint workshop in the Rocky Mountain region (e.g., Salt Lake City, Denver or Albuquerque) we are also exploring the possibility of conducting a workshop in conjunction with a future ASNT meeting.
Tentatively, we are planning to hold the workshop (s) in late 1987 or early 1988. We will continue to coordinate our plans with Vandy Miller of your staff.
