The Commission has received your November 21, 1988 letter providing comments on our proposed fitness-for-duty rule.
The Commission believes that it is important to ensure that nuclear power plants are operated by individuals who are not impaired by drugs or alcohol and believes that the final NRC fitness-for-duty rule will be a significant step toward that goal.
