CRGR MEETING N0. 142 i
The Committee to Review Generic Requirements (CRGR) will meet in the afternoon on Wednesday, July 27, 1988, in Room 2F17 White Flint. The agenda is as follows: ;
1-2 p.m. G. Arlotto, RES, will present for CRGR review a proposed Revision 2 to Regulatory Guide 1.106, " Thermal Overload Protection for Motor-0perated Valves for Nuclear Power Plants" ;
- comment version. (A review package is enclosed).
2-3 p.m. CRGR will discuss the staff's resolution of CRGR recommenda-tions on the proposed Generic Letter on the removal of fire protection requirements from Technical Specifications. This issue was discussed at CRGR Meeting No. 139. (A review package j' is enclosed.)
3-4 p.m. CRGR will discuss the staff's resolution of USIs A-3, A-4 and A-5 pertaining to steam generator tube integrity and decide whether CRGR review is needed. (A review package is enclosed.) A draft response is included with the package for your review.
If a CRGR member cannot attend the meeting, it is his responsibility to assure that an alternate, who is approved by the CRGR Chairman, attends the meeting.
Persons making presentations to the CRGR are responsible for (1) assuring that l the information required for CRGR review is provided to the Committee (CRGR I Charter - IV.B), (2) coordinating and presenting views of other offices, (3) as appropriate, assuring that other offices are represented during the presentations, and (4) assuring that agenda modifications are coordinated with the CRGR contact (C. Sakenas X24359) and others involved with the presentation.
Division Directors or higher management should attend meetings addressing agenda items under their purview. L In accordance with the ED0's March 29, 1984 memorandum to the Commission concerning " Forwarding of CRGR Documents to the Public Document Room (PDR)," 7 1- l

2-the review packages for items scheduled at this meeting, which contain predecisional information, will not be released to the PDR until the NRC has considered (in a pubile forum) or decided the matter addressed by the information.
