Dear Mr. Grimsley:

l On October 26, 1977, the NBC published SECY-77-561.

This SECY paper included attachment 1 to enclosure 1 and was titled," Topic List for SEP Review" (10/11/77).

Pursuant to the freedom of information act, I request that you make available, by placement in the Public Document Room at 1777 H Street, NW, all documents relating to the formulation of the 800 topics referred to in the above attachment.

In addition I request all documentation that describes how the original topics were reduced to the SEP 137 topics.

As part of this request I

also asked that you include all documents including Task Force Reports related to SEP topics which preceded the formation of the systematic evaluation program that were written in the 1976 and 1977 time frame.

For the purpose of this request " document" is defined to include, but not be limited to, drafts and final versions of memoranda, meeting and trip

Thank you.
