NRC DOCKETS 50-321, 50-366 OPERATING LICENSES DPR-57, NPF-5 SECURITY PLAN AMENDMENT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Gentlemen:
. Georgia Power Company (GPC) proposed changes to th'e ' Plant Hatch Physical Security Plan (PSP) by letters of December 12, 1986, and December 22, 1986.
These changes ~ proposed to incorporate revisions reflecting changes to 10 CFR 73.55 published in the Federal Reaister on August 4, 1986.
Subsequent to these submittals, on April 13, 1987, GPC provided to NRC a complete re-issue of _the PSP.
That submittal, -which was.provided in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54 (p), superseded the original PSP in its entirety.
As provided by 10 CFR 50.54 (p), the new PSP and implementing-procedures were effected at the plant on April-15, 1987.
NRC review of the new PSP is continuing at the present time.
By letter of August 19,
- 1987, NRC notified GPC that numerous additional revisions were required to the changes proposed to the oriainal PSP by the above letters of December 12, 1986, and December 22, i
1986.
However, that document, and the changes proposed in the reference letters, have been superseded by the new issue of the PSP.
l He therefore request that NRC staff review of implementation of PSP changes reflecting the revised 10 CFR 73.55 be conducted against the new PSP, as reflected in the April 13, 1987, submittal.
He will be happy to address any comments relative to this review.
