In my letter of January 9,1987 to Mr. Harold R. Denton, I reported on the planned retirement of Mr. W. G. Kuhns as chairman and chief executive officer of General Public Utilities (GPU) Corporation and the intended election of Mr.
J. F. O' Leary to replace him.
I am sorry to report that Mr. O' Leary passed away on December 19, 1987. As a result of this, Mr. Kuhns has returned from retirement and has been elected l
chairman and chief executive officer of 9PU and chairman of GPU Nuclear.
