AFFIDAVIT OF TRAVIS N. BEARD Travis N. Beard, being on oath, deposes and says as follows:
1.
I am Senior Emergency Planner for New Hampshire Yankee at Seabrook Station.
A statement of my professions 1 qualifications is attached hereto.
2, On December 17, 1987 I executed an Affidavit in the above captioned matter which was flied and served on December 18th as part of " Applicants' Opposition to the Motion of Attorney General.

I submit this Affidavit to explain more precisely the term " installed" as used in Paragraph 4 of my December 17th Affidavit.

The term " installed" was utilized to signify that:
the " Alternate Alerting System" has been designed (December 9th Document); the airborne alert and noti-fication system for the residents of Newburyport, Massachusetts was validated by actual field data obtained near the Seabrook Station on November 4th and 5th, 8801060083 871223 PDR ADOCK 05000443 0

Sutherland, dated December 18, 1987): the concrete for the helipad and taxi-way has been poured; and the contract with the hell-copter vendor has been executed.
By the terms of the contract, the helicopter and pilot will be in place at Seabrook Station by initial criticality.

I did not mean to imply operational readiness of the helicopter system.
My purpose in this filing is to clarify that helicopter is not, in fact,on the helipad.
