Enclosed is export license amendment application XSNM3747/04, dated August 12, 2020.
Export license XSNM3747/03 authorizes the export of 14,836 kilograms (kg) of uranium containing up to 178 kg of uranium-235 in the form of uranium dioxide to Japan.
The purpose of the amendment is to extend the date of expiration from December 31, 2020 to December 31, 2026.
The NRC is processing export license XSNM3747/04, as a minor amendment. If no dissenting public comments are received, and applicable legal requirements are satisfied, the NRC will issue the amended license, after the 30-day comment period.
