Enclosed is export license application XSOU8842/02, dated August 12, 2020. Export license XSOU8842/01 authorizes the export of 41,392 kilograms (kg) of natural uranium and 271,829 kg of natural thorium for non-nuclear end uses in China.
The purpose of the amendment is to add Chung Nam Minerals Hong Kong Company Ltd., as an Intermediate Consignee.
The NRC is processing export license XSOU8842/02, as a minor amendment. If no dissenting public comments are received, and all applicable legal requirements are satisfied, the NRC will issue the amended license, after the 30-day comment period.
