August 24 NCS Inspection Date: Wednesday, August 5, 2020 9:59:00 AM Attachments: Document Request.docx Amaryl, Nick, The purpose of this letter is to notify you that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Region II staff will conduct a Nuclear Criticality Safety inspection at your facility during the week of August 24, 2020. The inspections will focus on the core inspection procedures described in the NRC Inspection Manual Chapter 2600. The inspectors will use NRC Inspection Procedure (IP) 88015, Nuclear Criticality Safety. The inspectors are myself and Nick Peterka.

I apologize for the late notice, weve been in a state of flux due to the COVID-19 situation.

The current plan for this inspection is that Ill go onsite, while Nick Peterka will conduct the remote portion of this inspection concurrently. In the attached document request we divided the documents between those that Ill be reviewing onsite and those that Nick will be reviewing as part of the remote inspection. If some documents are too difficult to provide remotely or some other difficulty is encountered please let me know. And if our plans change again Ill let you know as soon as I can.

If possible, an entrance meeting should be schedule for 14:00 on August 24, with an exit meeting at 16:00 on August 27. If there are any questions about this inspection or the material requested, please contact me by email or at 404-997-4525.

Thank you, Tim Sippel.
